Work you’ll do

+ Assist with evaluation, development, programming, and execution of on-going reconciliations.

+ Work with clients to coordinate development and resolution of identified analytical deficiencies.

+ Support analytics team to execute data strategy and review analytic scripts (Python, Databricks, SQL, ACL).

+ Design and implement technical solutions to improve financial management activities.

+ Work with clients to identify financial control issues and gaps.

+ Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues.

+ Work with government leaders and end-users to understand current state business processes, develop future state processes with next generation systems/applications, delivery training, risk management, and successfully support end-user adoption.

+ Responsible for requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, documentation, and support.

Our services include diagnosis analytics, process automation, analytics insight, data visualization, and financial modeling to help implement new or improved strategies in the operating model.

Qualifications

Required:

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

+ Travel up to 20% on average, based on work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve.

+ Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business, Finance or another Business-related field.

+ 1+ year(s) of experience in Excel, ACL, Python, SAS, Alteryx, R, SQL, or other advanced analytical programs.

Preferred:

+ Consulting experience in business process improvement, financial management policies and procedures, or financial system integrations

+ Familiarity with U.S. government financial accounting systems

+ Certifications including CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CFA

+ Applied knowledge of accounting analytics in the government space

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,000 to $127,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
