Job Description
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Dynamics Great Plains Financial Consultant located in Hillside, Illinois. This role is integral to our team, focusing on the enhancement of our financial processes through specific application support, automation, and development. The position primarily involves working with Microsoft Dynamics GP and requires a comprehensive understanding of business process functions and change management.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of technical application support on a daily basis.
- Improvement and automation of Microsoft Dynamics GP functionality, specifically targeting the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger modules.
- Identification and rectification of payment inefficiencies, particularly in relation to ETF payments.
- Enhancement of sales tax reports through automation.
- Improvement of the AR Import functionality within MS Dynamics GP to reduce manual processes.
- Facilitation of internal change management processes to ensure seamless adoption of new systems and processes.
- Standardization and documentation of GP SOPs.
- Development of automation solutions to improve efficiency within the Great Plains processes.
- Ensuring accurate configuration of systems to reduce inefficiencies and improve overall effectiveness.
- Utilization of cloud technologies, CRM, database, EO/IR systems, Epicor, and AB testing skills for process improvement. Requirements – Proficiency in Dynamics Great Plains Financial software.
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Understanding of Database management.
- Familiarity with EO/IR systems.
- Knowledge of Epicor software.
- Proven experience with AB Testing.
- Understanding of Business Process Functions.
- Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents.
- Experience with Change Management processes.
