We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a IT Inventory Coordinator (Internal title- IT Asset Coordinator) on our Information Technology team. This is a position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 5 days a week in the office. As a IT Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible for the daily management of AMA’s physical IT assets including maintaining IT inventory system, the receipt, storage, and tracking of all Physical IT Assets. Support the IT Procurement area as required RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Management

+ Receive, inspect, and check-in all IT ordered equipment.

+ Asset tag all capital equipment as required.

+ Enter information into the IT inventory system as required.

+ Responsible for the accuracy of the Work from Home inventory list.

+ Coordinate IT asset reporting with Finance

+ For existing employees, issue return boxes and return slips, track, and manage status and emails, assure all returned equipment is properly processed.

+ For terminated employees, coordinate with building security on equipment return. Assure all returned equipment is properly processed.

+ Work with vendor to determine if the equipment is under warranty.

+ Arrange for authorization and shipping of eligible equipment.

Inventory Tracking System

+ Ensure that the IT inventory system is reconciled to the Snow tracking system on a quarterly basis.

+ Produce reporting out of the IT inventory System as required .

+ Track all equipment under repair and ensure that AMA asset tracking system accurately reflects the status of all equipment under repair

May include other responsibilities as assigned REQUIREMENTS:

+ High school diploma or GED required. BS or BA degree or related field preferred, or equivalent in work experience is required.

+ Minimum 2+ year of asset management experience or equivalent experience required

+ Demonstrate an attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to work independently.

+ Working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel software. Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Visio and Sharepoint preferred.

+ Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including interaction with executives and the ability to influence colleagues to complete tasks as requested by IT leadership.

+ Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity.

+ Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a team environment as well as to be a strong individual contributor.

+ Decision-making skills, including business and technology problem solving applying understanding of policies and processes.

+ Exhibits the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, reprioritizing assigned tasks as needed based on importance and urgency.

+ The capability to lift packages of 50 pounds.
