Plumbing Technician

Role and Responsibilities We are the leading manufacturer of emergency eyewash and shower equipment in the U.S. In an emergency, our products are used to rinse someone’s eyes, face or body. Our products must be supplied with warm water to prevent the user from being scalded or exposed to freezing water. To meet this need, we supply large industrial customers with package hot water heating systems. These systems are custom-engineered and typically incorporate an electric hot water heater, thermostatic mixing valve, UV water purifier, recirculation and booster pumps, and control panel to mix hot and cold water to the required temperature. Your role will be to assemble and test these systems. Qualifications We require a hands-on professional who is experienced in basic plumbing and pipe fitting using steel, copper and plastic piping. Specific requirements include:+ Able to read and understand engineering drawings, prints, and bills of materials.
+ Able to safely use a wide variety of hand and power tools.
+ Able to cut, thread and assemble pipe.
+ Has great attention to detail.
+ Able to work efficiently and independently.
