Job Title: Quality Lab TechnicianJob Description
As a Batch Adjuster in the QC Lab, you will ensure that all prescribed testing of production batches is conducted according to established test methods. You will verify that all production batches meet established specifications and required color limits. You will approve final fill check panels for production and ensure the product remains within specifications at the time of filling. You will perform various quality testing, including but not limited to color, gloss, viscosity, and physical properties. You will determine necessary adjustments to bring products into quality specifications and keep records of batch adjustments, fill checks, and more on batch tickets. You will follow all ISO procedures, prepare fill check panels, and consult with the Quality Manager. Additionally, you will work on short-term projects to improve the Quality Department’s efficiency, transfer hazardous wastes to the satellite hazardous waste area, and maintain clean and organized workstations and retain storage areas. Annual RCRA training is required.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Work Environment
95% lab, 5% floor. Will be working with hazardous materials. Lab glasses, button-up shirts, and pants required. 2nd shift is 2pm-10:30pm M-F with occasional optional weekends when busy. Candidates cannot be colorblind, and left-handed individuals may struggle in this role.
