Job Title: Indirect Procurement Specialist (Contract Administrator)

Job Description

As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you are the interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role manages Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and RFXs to support supplier identification and selection. You will work with suppliers to find cost savings in partnership with internal customers. You will be a key link among site procurement teams, the divisional category procurement organization, and corporate procurement category managers.

- Maintain good relations with internal and external customers by ensuring professional behavior and processing their inquiries in a timely manner.

- Proactively seek innovative ways to improve procurement processes, cycle times, and customer service.

- Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, end users, and suppliers.

- Develop business relationships with suppliers to preserve our client’s good business reputation while still obtaining competitive pricing.

- Resolve complaints and disputes between requestors, purchasing, receiving, vendors, and other stakeholders.

- Manage PO changes and communicate trends of changes.

Hard Skills

+ Experience with processing Purchasing Contracts

+ Experience reading and understanding purchasing contracts and identifying potential issues

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

+ Strategic Purchasing Planning

+ Ability to work independently with upper management to get contracts approved

Work Site/Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Lake Forest, Illinois. On site for the first 5 months. Will provide remote working (Hybrid) one day a week after the training period. 4 to 6 months of training then hybrid for one day a week and four days in the office. Standard hours are 8-5 pm with some flexibility if necessary.
