Job Summary:

WindStream is a leading service provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions for residential customers, small businesses, enterprise organizations and carrier partners across the U.S. RevChain is a proprietary billing software that WindStream owns and utilizes across all the market segments described above. RevChain Billing team enhances, maintains, and supports core and custom releases of RevChain Billing product. In addition to that WindStream is a global provider of RevChain as a software product and services to help manage revenue chain for other external customers.

Development teams work in an AGILE environment using Scrum framework. Experience in that development methodology is required. Experience in telecom and/or billing is a plus.

+ 5+ years of experience in full life cycle application development with AGILE/SCRUM methodology, OOA, OOD.

+ 5+ years of experience with the following: RDBMS, SQL, Oracle, and/or PLSQL.

+ 5+ years of experience with the following: Java, JavaEE, Hibernate/JPA/Spring, ANT, Maven, JSF

+ 5+ years of experience with the following: Web Development (CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, HTML), UNIX Shell Scripting, Windows scripting

+ 2+ years of experience with WebLogic is desirable.

+ 2+ years of experience in developing Microservices

+ Proficient in verbal and written communication.

+ Have proven ability to create software to approved design specifications with occasional guidance from an experienced developer/architect.

+ Must be able to conduct Unit test and integration test to ensure software meets requirements and design specifications.

+ Ability to support test team during the test cycle for their deliverables.

+ Ability to coach and mentor junior developers and contractors.

+ Create and update project documentation according to established standards.

+ Participate in the development, review and adherence of project and department standards.

+ Provide timely status as requested by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

College degree in a Technical or a related field and 4-6 years professional level experience; or 8+ years professional level related technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related technical experience required.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience or Master’s in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate’s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience The starting compensation range for this job is $76,300 to $104,200
