Insight Global is looking for a Tech Support Specialist for one of its Higher Education clients in the Chicagoland area. This technician will be tasked with primarily hardware support requests and will handle in-person support requests.

Provides technical support for users’ computers and peripheral device Coordinates standard projects, working closely with peers and users to deliver optimum service. Implements policies, procedures, and standards and ensures compliance with organizational requirements and goals. Communication, professionalism, and customer service skills are just as important as the technical skills

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

2+ years of white glove IT Level 1 Support experience In-person experience diagnosing and resolving end user requests Experience with standard installation and maintenance of IT Hardware Experience resetting passwords and troubleshooting software Superb communication and customer support skills

Plus:

Experience working in education/for a university Experience with TeamDynamix (TDX) ticketing system null
