The Opportunity

The Senior Director, Enterprise Technology, Global Corporate Capabilities includes technology Portfolio for HR, Payroll, TimeKeeping, Office of Government and Legal affairs, Internal Communications and technology needs of Ford Motor Company’s real estate division. This role is accountable for budget, performance, and oversees the global portfolio of investments and operations for the entire portfolio. The selected individual will partner with HR, Finance, Labor Affairs, Office of the General Counsel business leaders to build a roadmap for technology transformations, provide analysis, insight, and diagnostic feedback leveraging technology to improve business performance metrics. The role will be responsible for global and regional projects and initiatives to modernize the technology infrastructure to drive adoption of corporate tech. stack resulting in sustained lowest total cost of ownership. The role collaborates with Enterprise Technology partners in Enterprise Architecture, Supply Chain, Finance, GAO and Business office to drive Enterprise Objectives. This role is a leadership role that is responsible for thought leadership, Strategy, Execution and Operations, long term sustainability, and contributing to ensuring a compliant and ethical work environment.

What you’ll be able to do

- Build strong relationships while building credibility with business groups to understand their technology needs, goals (business outcomes), and challenges. Collaborate with business leaders and senior management to influence, develop, and execute Technology Strategy to support Global and Regional business within scope.

- Lead the organization towards a culture of excellence in which employees feel engaged and inspired to deliver business results. Develop and implement long-term people and culture plans, strategies, and initiatives to support the delivery of business strategy.

- Evaluate and assess current and future business objectives and identifies opportunities to Modernize the technology landscape and identify technology driven solutions for the future.

- Be in the forefront of deep understanding of CRM, HCM, SAAS, Media, Communications, AI, Employee Experience, Building Management, Payroll, Time-Keeping Technologies and how it can enable transformation of People and Processes to new heights within Ford Motor Company.

- Lead the enablement of a business change with technology at the global and regional level by serving as a strategic technology partner to senior leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda designed to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry. Continuously strive to improve comprehensive employee experience.

- Conduct business and technical briefings for top management and advises business leaders on technology advancements in SAAS, Cloud, AI et. al. to solve people and culture challenges in the organization; provide expertise in technology and its impact on regulatory aspects of Data Protection and Privacy.

- Advise leaders on strategies to grow talent and develop technical capability pipelines for the business unit.

- Lead the Global and Regional Investment Projects/Programs such as Payroll, TimeKeeping, Recruiting, Learning, Internal Communications, Office of the General Counsel and Real Estate technology implementations.

- Drive Technology leadership, implementation, and operations of large portfolio in Ford Motor Company globally. Deeply understand the customers (employees) and Stakeholders to develop strategy and create compelling business cases for investments in transforming and modernizing organization-specific people and workforce plans and roadmaps to align the workforce with business needs at the global and regional level. Review relevant monthly and quarterly Corporate Technology Objectives Dashboards, tracks trends, and develops appropriate changes to the plan in collaboration with the business.

- Own the delivery of critical HR Projects to diagnose and resolve new and ambiguous people and culture problems without precedent and/or continuous improvement programs.

- Analyze the long-term impact of new or anticipated strategies and decisions on the business to take appropriate action. Lead rigorous process and service improvement programs.

The minimum requirements we seek

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent Engineering Discipline, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.

- 10+ years of leadership experience with large scale technology implementations.

- 5+ years organizational leadership of 200+ team members.

The preferred requirements we seek

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent Engineering Discipline, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.

- Technical depth or experiences in Custom Development, Modern Architecture, Cloud adoption, Middleware, SAAS, HCM, CRM and Niche Products in Survey Technologies, Recruiting and Building Management Systems.
