Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Working in a metal production facility, you will operate CNC lathes and mills, specifically Okuma and Haas machines. Responsibilities include setting up and changing over the machines (2-3 times a day), checking pieces for quality using micrometers and calipers, utilizing blueprints and drawings, documenting all finished products in a written log, and cleaning the work area before and after the shift.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Harwood Heights, Illinois.

Work Environment

1st shift from 6 AM to 4 PM. The dress code includes steel toe shoes and jeans. PPE, including ear protection, will be provided. You will be part of a medium-sized company, working on a team of about 10-12 people depending on the line. The setting is a metal manufacturing company, so you need to be comfortable in this environment.
