Assembler | Naperville, IL

2nd Shift | $18 per hour

Actively hiring for multiple light assemblers in the Naperville area to work 2nd shift at a rapidly growing company. This is a long term opportunity which will allow you to gain skills and cross train in multiple departments. You will be working in a clean temperature controlled environment. Each department has their own lab/cleanroom area. This is a full time position and the shift expected to work is 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

Job Description

+ Work in the optical wire department, responsible for checking the quality of very small plastic connectors.

+ Use a magnifying glass/microscope to inspect clear plastic pieces for black spots and/or bubbles.

+ Assembling connectors on the end of fiberoptic cables, crimping them down, and plugging them in for testing.

+ This is a repetitive job involving small pieces, with tasks that require both sitting and standing throughout the day.

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Pay: $18 per hour

Skills

+ 6+ months machine operating/assembly experience

+ Ability to handle and inspect small pieces

+ Ability to stand and do repetitive work for 8-10 hours

+ Flexible attitude to be cross trained and help other areas of the plant.

Work Environment

+ Very clean, temperature-controlled, beautiful environment for manufacturing. All departments are in their own lab/cleanroom area.
