Job Description

Material Handler Opening to start ASAP

These roles are at a sterilization plant. Surgery Kits are packaged in one part of the facility, and they come to this department to get disinfected and sterilized before going to a hospital or end customer. You will be responsible for moving this sterilized material to be shipped to customers.

Shift: 6am-6pm rotating shift

- Use Forklift and/or Walkie Rider to move pallets around the warehouse

- Use RF Scanners and computers to pull work orders and manage shipping

- Required to wear a respirator in certain areas where sterilization takes place

Hard Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Waukegan, Illinois.

Work Environment

This is a sterilization plant, so wearing a respirator is mandatory in certain parts of the facility. The respirator fitting occurs after about a week of employment.
