Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an AWS IAM Engineer to work on our Cloud Engineering team to manage enterprise IAM Roles and Policies. This position will be based out Hanover, MD and will be fully remote position.

Responsibilities

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team seeks a highly motivated Engineer with the following specifications to lead the ongoing modernization of our critical IAM/PAM infrastructure.

+ The IAM team is responsible for the design and implementation of various IAM technologies including Microsoft Active Directory, Federation Services, AWS Identity Center, and Privileged Access Management.

+ This individual will serve as subject matter expert for IAM team to provide hands-on technical guidance and help with the implementation of various IAM and AWS Cloud Security tools and processes.

Provide strategy, direction, and leadership in incorporating all parts of provisioning, de-provisioning, access review, and solving complex IAM related issues.

+ Manage escalations from staff, assist in setting priorities and risk mitigation strategies across the environment

+ Design, implement, manage, and engineering support for PAM/IAM backend infrastructure based on best practices

+ Lead development and implement procedures, runbooks, and documents to support the PAM/IAM services

+ Support in troubleshooting and resolving complex identity, authentication, authorization, entitlement, permissions and integration problems

Qualifications

BS with 15+ years experience/professional

Clearance: Top Secret

Will accept a SECRET clearance but must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Required Skills and Experience

+ Advanced knowledge of modern authentications technologies and concepts such as SAML, Federation, SSO, OPenID, OAuth, Privilege Access Management (PAM), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

+ CISSP, or other IAM tool specific security certification

+ Clearance Required:Secret (TS Eligibility)

+ Must have or obtain IAT level II certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+(CE))

+ Demonstrated experience or certifications in Linux and/or AWS GovCloud technologies

Preferred Skills and Experience

+ Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams

+ Experience with virtual and/or cloud based servers and applications (AWS GovCloud Specific)

+ Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills

+ Effective written and oral communication skills

+ Experience working in an Agile environment

+ Certification(s) in relevant technologies

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 – USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
