Primary job duty is to sell Oracle Banking applications software/solutions to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

What You’ll Do

+ Develop and lead go to market plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets and drive Market growth and expansion.

+ Crafting a tailored ‘case for transformation’ and solution design with compelling proposal for each opportunity.

+ Maintain and build an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry, emerging banking trends and transformation needs.

+ Build relationships and establish communications at the highest executive levels in your accounts and Markets to understand their business and technology challenges and priorities.

+ Develop and maintain account plans and opportunity strategy for the most critical medium to high value opportunities.

+ Understand the customers buying process and develop strategies to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence.

+ Consistently communicate and brainstorm with your colleagues, extended team, and drive feedback into management around all aspects of account, opportunity, and market development.

+ Work effectively across Oracle Line of Business team members in the defined territory and within the various teams within the FSBGU.

+ Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development and Customer Success to develop a sustainable “value proposition” to drive positive sales outcomes and deepen market presence.

+ Participate and drive customer engagement at conferences, Industry events and seminars in your respective territory.

+ Develop a 5x 12-month pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet and exceed your quota targets

+ Opportunity lead generation and pipeline management with accurate forecasting.

+ Lead deal closures in a structured and transparent manner.

+ Work with existing partners and identify new strategic alliances to grow license revenue and expand customer footprint.

+ Build a deep understanding of your competitive landscape.

+ Travel as required, as this role may be a virtual position.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Bring

+ Self-starter / independent sales leader

+ You are results oriented with a track-record of success selling complex applications software or Cloud solutions and exceeding target goals

+ Strong understanding of financial services industry, emerging banking trends and transformations

+ Proven consultative and solution selling skills including developing significant investment initiatives, business case development, detailed solution design, implementation approach and cross functional plan coordination

+ Ability to own, control and manage complex customer negotiation cycles with procurement, legal and executive leadership teams on the path to contract close.

+ Strong orientation to open communication and continuous collaboration with trust and transparency amongst team members.

+ Ability to thrive within ambiguity, think on your feet and maintain objectivity while solving problems

+ Clarity of thought and crisp structured communication with strong Interpersonal skills.

+ You are committed to continuous learning

+ A minimum of 10 years of enterprise B2B sales experience.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $126,200 to $207,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55 – 50/50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
