The Americas Segment and Lifecycle Marketing team is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Field Marketing Manager to join our North America Startups team to build programs and awareness with North America’s top Venture Capital firms and Universities. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in implementing high-impact campaigns and partnerships with VCs and Universities to engage with student start up programs and university-based accelerators. You’ll collaborate closely across functional sales, business development and marketing teams to build and accelerate awareness within these communities.

Key job responsibilities

1. Build, raise awareness and nurture relationships with NAMER’s top venture capital (VC) firms and universities supporting startups.

2. Collaborate with the NAMER startups community to identify and engage with promising startups within their ecosystems/portfolios that foster mutually beneficial relationships.

3. Design a plan where AWS is represented at startup-focused conferences and forums hosted by VCs and Universities.

4. Create content and resources tailored for VCs and universities to educate and engage with their startup portfolios and student communities.

5. Measure and report on KPIs related to the startup community, such as startup acquisition rates, Activate sign-ups, engagement, and partnership value.

About the team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
