Reporting into Associate Director of Product Engineering, you will play an important role in our efforts to build and integrate our automated testing approach across our core web applications into the CE test and automation platform. The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our products, the complex use cases to test them, and creating a set of automated tests that will result in a deep and flexible set of tests that become the primary foundation of our regression, deployment, and continuous delivery testing. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with experience with quality and testing to help transform the primary technology of a healthcare information technology company.

Location: Hybrid – Waltham, MA; Chicago, IL; Coppell, TX; Kennesaw, GA; Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

+ Work with fellow test engineers, software engineers, Product Owners, and other team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of existing products and features.

+ Be conversant with roadmap plans for new functionality to help guide decisions, consistency, and opportunities for re-use.

+ Ensure our web applications be tested, whether through manual or automated testing methods.

+ Systematically develop a set of automated tests based on the backlog of test automation user stories. Work with subject-matter experts to clarify business rules, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure the quality of coverage for the automated test solution.

+ Design, develop and maintain automated tests within the automated test framework being used.

+ Ensure automated tests are written according to best practices, such that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid as code evolves.

+ Advocate for approaches that create quality and ensure testability.

+ Plan and implement testing-related tasks within an Agile environment.

+ Remain current with evolving industry trends and technologies in the automated testing arena. Job Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree

+ 3-5 years Experience with the automated test technology using JavaScript testing framework

+ 3 years of experience working in an Agile testing environment.

+ Experience with manual testing and test automation for medium to large client-facing web applications.

+ 3 years of experiencein reviewing product specifications and developing test cases based on those requirements

+ Experience JavaScript and Java

+ Experience with Relational databases e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.

+ Experience with software code version control systems such as Git.

+ Experience writing UI and REST API automated tests.

+ Experience with mobile cloud providers like Browser Stack, Sauce Labs etc.is a plus.
