About the role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to our financial services client account to help achieve the company’s strategic business objectives. Projects consist of the design and installation of building security systems and IT infrastructure within corporate real estate spaces.

This job is part of the Project Management function for Workplace Tech Solutions team and is responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What you’ll do

Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Lead the implementation and design of security systems in corporate real estate spaces.

Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.

Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Collaborate with Architects, MEP contractors/vendors.

Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.

Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.

Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.

Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

Showcase expertise in own job subject area and in-depth knowledge of other job fields within the organization function.

Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

+ Reasonable understanding in the areas of security access and monitoring, network setup/design, voice/data cabling, telephony, wireless, audio visual, and sound masking.

+ Experience with IT infrastructure construction projects

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Project, and Smartsheet.

+ Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Senior Project Manager position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for this Senior Project Manager position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
