The Production Manager reports to the Plant Manager and has primary responsibility for organizing and managing a team of up to 20 operators to ensure team productivity, safety, and compliance with H.B. Fuller's procedures and work instructions. This position also contributes to manufacturing projects, and the improvement of manufacturing processes, and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Duties
This Production Manager will be involved in a variety of functions including:

Lead, oversee and motivate the production team to maintain a good level of work and productivity.

Ensure that the production is made in accordance with production plan, procedures, and standards, proposing changes whenever appropriate.

Ensure compliance with procedures and all work orders established and must deliver the planning.

Participates in projects related to production.

Maximize the use of available resources, the reduction of operating times, increase productivity, reduce costs through operational excellence/continuous improvement, and decrease the number of quality nonconformities.

Make employees aware of health and safety issues at work, with the aim of reducing accidents by ensuring and encouraging employees to follow the safety and housekeeping rules and standards.

Coordinate maintenance activities.

Respond to technical questions from customers. Ensure compliance with Quality & HSE policies and with the procedures set out in the Internal Policies

Remain flexible in approach and be prepared to undertake other tasks as and when required.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or related Engineering.

3+ years' experience in a supervisory role, managing others in a multi shift operation.

Ability to drive and implement safety initiatives.

Green Belt and experience implementing Continuous Improvement / Lean initiatives.

Project Management experience

PLC experience

Mechanical Aptitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including English.

Preferred Requirements

Knowledge of SAP

Chemical manufacturing experience

Black Belt

Rockwell PLC experience

This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require H.B. Fuller sponsorship of a work visa to work for H.B. Fuller.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $85,000 - $105,000.
