Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.Job Specifics
OSF Medical Group, part of OSF HealthCare, seeks a trauma critical care PA to join a multidisciplinary team of board certified surgeons, medical students, surgical residents, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and advanced practice providers to provide evidenced based care.
PA must be board-eligible or board-certified. experienced physician assistants will be considered.
OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center is the fifth largest medical center in Illinois and the only Region 2 Level I Trauma Center in the area. OSF partners with both residency and fellowship programs and provided care to more than 2700 trauma patients last year.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in nursing or at least an MSPAS/ MPAS as well as a valid national PA certification or acute care APRN certification Federal DEA and IL Controlled Substance Current Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
