Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) and MAS Defined Contribution

Within the Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) investing group, our personalized planning and investing team is responsible for the design, product management and investment methodology for our digital investment and retirement advice platform. We provide custom tailored education, advice and account management services via partnerships with employers, recordkeepers, advisors/consultants to help their employees and participants meet their retirement objectives. These services are offered within Defined Contribution plans, such as 401(k) plans, as well as through other partnership channels, such as for the Individual Retirement Account (IRA) market.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This Associate UX Designer will have a strong track record of delivering world-class digital product and service solutions where a professional design acumen has played a pivotal role. You should have expertise across the entire human-centered design spectrum, which includes: UX, UI, and Interactive Design - Ecosystem, Journey and User Flow Mapping - Information Architecture - Research and Testing and Usability/Accessibility knowledge.
In addition, it's critical to know visual identity/branding principles, style, and design system management, bringing together industry best practices, advancements in trends, emerging patterns, and their applicability to our products. Love for UI guidelines and design systems drive your ability to grow and evolve this space over time, helping to shape elegantly simple, and intuitive solutions.
The Associate UX Designer will help define and evolve the high standards of creativity and innovation across the MAS Defined Contribution space, setting and raising the bar, so team members do the same. The best candidate for this position rolls up their sleeves and effectively leads their team to bring design to life, while partnering with the business to ensure every approach and process is primed for success. There will need to be regular collaborating with Product and Engineering teams and business stakeholders to bring the user's voice to the surface, representing design decisions across the AWM organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
At least 3 years of professional experience designing digital products
A bachelor's or master's degree in Design, HCI, Engineering, Business or equivalent
Consumer and enterprise product and service design experience
Expertise with modern design tools (UserTesting, Figma, Miro, Adobe Suite, prototyping tools)
Experience facilitating Design Thinking/Human Centered Design exercises and organizing Design Sprints
Great presentation, storytelling, workshop, and communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and overlapping project timelines
Ability to prioritize personal and team workloads to best meet organization objectives
Ability to adapt the UX process to varying project lengths
Proven ability to translate vision and user feedback into actionable outcomes
FinTech or other financial services experience
