Your role at Baxter
As a Spec, Master Data, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently creating and maintaining customer master data in both SAP and JDE (JD Edwards) systems. Your main focus will be to ensure the accurate and timely setup and maintenance of customer accounts, supporting various departments within the organization, such as sales, finance, and customer service. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, compliance, and a seamless customer experience.

Your team
Multi-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, customer service, and other teams to gather necessary information, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries promptly.

What you'll be doing
Customer Data Entry: Accurately input customer information into both SAP and JDE systems based on the provided documentation and established guidelines.
Data Validation: Conduct thorough reviews of customer data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment to data quality standards. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding customer data management. Maintain proper documentation for audit and reference purposes.
Account Maintenance: Perform regular updates and changes to customer accounts, such as address modifications, contact details, and other relevant information.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and optimize customer data management workflows.
Training and Support: Assist new employees and team members in understanding the customer master account creation process and system functionalities.

What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
Previous experience with SAP and/or JDE systems, particularly in customer master data management preferred.
Familiarity with data entry best practices, data validation techniques, and data quality management.
Solid attention to detail and the ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address data-related issues effectively.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $41,600 to $57,200.

The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location
