Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to maintain and improve upon the T&E program and provide critical reporting, data analytics, data integrity, and T&E platform and data maintenance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team to assess, troubleshoot, support the program, and mitigate risks.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of T&E, policy, a proactive approach to problem-solving, a desire to learn and grow and the ability to work discreetly, with minimal direction.
What You'll Do:
Daily oversight of the travel, expense and p-card programs
Provide reporting and analysis of travel and expense programs to leadership
Use data analytics and auditing procedures to ensure compliance with policies
Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback, understand and resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
Work with Treasury to administer expense reporting through Concur; develop and distribute reports to management from Concur
Participate in the management of travel partners and vendor relationships, including the negotiation of contracts or rates ensuring adherence to SLAs
Interact with manager and/or employee when exceptions are identified
Coordinate with HR and employee's manager regarding settlement of any outstanding or transactions or delinquent balances upon termination of card holder
Look up and investigate credit card declines and assist associates with credit limit increases and/or merchant code issues
Process new applications/set-ups for Concur and cards
Complete annual review/update of T&E and P-Card policies
Ensure compliance in all aspects of travel procedures
Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring:
An Associate's degree (required) or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
At least 1-3 years' experience in either T&E, treasury, bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or administrative support.
Working-level knowledge of Excel.
Customer-oriented approach
Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills
Demonstrated interest or related experience in corporate travel, expense management or financial services
Well-organized and reliable
An analytical mind with strong business acumen
Fluency with SAP Concur and Adelman/BCD is a plus
Within 3 Months, You'll:
Complete your new hire "Immersion" so that you are ready to rock in your new role.
Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
Have been designated administrator for our Concur (T&E) and Chase (credit card) programs.
Have been set up with access to Atkore's purchase order processing system.
Within 6 Months, You'll:
Be providing regular monthly and quarterly reviews to senior management on all T&E activities.
Be serving as the primary customer service contact to identify gaps in service with Concur, Adelman, JP Morgan, and BCD
Within 12 Months, You'll:
Develop training documents/materials for end users.
Participate in annual business review with card provider, identifying opportunities to increase rebate percentage.
Participate in annual business review w/ Concur, identifying potential program enhancement opportunities & negotiating annual contract costs.
Analyze and develop KPI's for user experience and/or issue resolution.
