Job Description

Staffmark is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Northlake, IL location. Join our team and take advantage of this excellent opportunity!

Pay: $19 per hour

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM - 8:30 AM
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Operate a sit-down forklift for tasks including putting away inventory, order picking, loading and unloading trucks, and performing cycle counts.
Lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks such as picking individual boxes and other products.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and shrink wrap as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work areas throughout the shift.
Utilize RF scanners and adhere to safety and operational standards.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience (Empire uses Hyster and Crown forklifts).
Experience with RF scanners.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle physical tasks.
Forklift certification.
Hands-on training with equipment, including the attachment used for moving carpet rolls.
