Job Description Summary:

Responsible for the vision and success of the data analytics product line, which includes Power BI Dashboards, Reports, Advisory Services and Advanced Analytic capabilities. Product Managers work closely with various teams to make business decisions and create product strategies to ensure the company’s long-term objectives. The Product Manager works with various departments to ensure the organization’s goals are met while the client and market needs are met. The Product Manager is the champion of the software product and must communicate with all areas of the company. The preferred candidate will have prior product management experience developing data products with experience across data infrastructure, data science, and/or analytics areas.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

+ Manages products with significant impact to corporate revenue stream, customer facing functions or critical internal functions. May assist directors in the development of department budgets/plans.

+ Manages the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

+ Specifies market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research using multiple channels.

+ Create, maintain, and champion the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases.

+ Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, overseeing interdepartmental activities to execute plans.

+ Help develop and deploy key market messages and communication strategies for the product line with the Marketing team.

+ Act as a liaison between Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, Business Development, Finance & Accounting, Marketing and Technology teams to support product positioning and customer demand as part of new product development.

+ Work closely with the SDLC team to groom backlogs, define requirements, plan sprints, and participate in UAT testing and deployment readiness activities.

+ Define data metrics to track progress towards value realization post product releases.

+ Develop, analyze, and manage ROI models to prioritize initiatives and monitor product value/success.

+ Analyze data to support and drive business decisions related to the product(s).

+ Develop and monitor metrics to support value realization related to the product(s).

+ Monitor product and relationship NPS for continuous improvement.

+ Monitor adoption and utilization of the product(s).

+ Monitor and analyze new technologies to articulate new potential application to the business.

+ Develop and deliver concise and meaningful presentations for internal and external audiences.

+ Work with the training team to develop the product training plan internally and externally.

+ Utilize methods to obtain the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and incorporate back into the product(s).

+ Evaluate and manage vendor invoicing for third-party software.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

+ At least 3 years of experience in product or project management.

+ At least 2 years of experience working with business and technical leadership.

Basic Qualifications

+ Experience with leading or coordinating initiatives

+ Understanding of general healthcare practices and regulations

+ Complete knowledge of SDLC.

+ Demonstrated success defining, launching, and maintaining successful products.

+ Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel for analytical purposes.

+ Intermediate skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint.

+ Demonstrated ability to use data to

+ Ability to work well under pressure and quickly shift priorities as necessary.

+ Ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact and cascade ideas, including responding to resistance and criticism

+ Must have exemplary people and communications skills coupled with the maturity needed to garner the respect of senior management.

+ Knowledge of new technologies and trends in the retail, healthcare, and information technology industries.

+ Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to various audiences.

+ Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.

+ Experience with evaluating and improving product NPS.

+ Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully manage ROI models, evaluate opportunity costs, and hidden costs to support value realization.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships with commercial software vendors including evaluating contracts, management of proposals (RFPs, RFIs), management of SOWs, and evaluation of vendor services.

+ Demonstrated ability to evaluate and manage vendor invoices for IT financials.

Travel Requirements: (if required)

+ Up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

+ Product Management certification a plus.

+ Project Management certification a plus.

+ Prior UX experience a plus.

+ Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.

+ Prior healthcare experience preferred.

+ Experience with contract negotiation a plus.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $77,424.82-$129,034.02
