This role will provide operational analytics support to the North America Sales and Sales Operations organizations working with the business stakeholders and Sales leadership. This role will work with the business users and management to understand and fulfill their business intelligence/reporting information needs. This role will work especially close with our Distribution and Channel teams supporting analytics on sales in, sales out, inventory levels. Support of NA bi-weekly forecasting process. The role entails identifying strategic and tactical initiatives within the sales operations department in order to maximize revenue opportunities. The Analyst will help drive the methodology, systems, and processes that enable growth among the sales organization.

This can be a remote role. The ideal candidate will be based near/around the Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY area, however willing to consider qualified applicants that resided anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide support to users through data analysis and research of business processes. This analysis may identify gaps in business process and lead to efforts to improve those processes

+ Work with finance, marketing, technical, product teams to solve the problem in daily work

+ Provide requested reports, make updates and provide recommendations when necessary

+ Organize data and generate deep customer insight in order to enhance sales operations productivity and effectiveness

+ Provide data, analyses, modeling, and reporting to support sales force monthly and quarterly business reviews

+ Responsible for building standard and custom reporting

+ Create comprehensive dashboards and automated metrics reports for sales and performance metrics, revenue, renewal rates, etc.

+ Publish and maintain dashboards and reports that support the sales organization and support functions (e.g. Sales Operations team)

+ Participate in UAT Testing pertaining to the reporting/analytics

+ Work with global operations reporting teams to help standardize reporting for our sales organization

+ Develop report specifications, data requirements and provide analysis to resolve business-related problems. Improve reporting processes whenever possible

+ Provide extensive and detailed data analysis of revenue trends/variances to goals and communicate to sales operations managers

+ Utilizes understanding of sales operations to detect emerging customer or market trends and help determine how the business can meet those opportunities and challenges to drive greater sales success

+ Ad-hoc data analysis upon request

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum:

+ Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Finance or a Business-related concentration) or equivalent experience

+ 5 + years of experience working with reporting and analytics in a sales ops or finance capacity

+ Experience creating/updating/running sales or revenue reporting

+ Expert-level proficiency in Excel and forward-looking modeling (forecasting)

Preferred:

+ 2 + years of experience using Salesforce.com

+ Strong analytical, communication scheduling and organizational skills

+ Attention to detail

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present technical and business solution concepts to all levels across functional domains (both technical and non-technical audiences) from a business perspective, while developing the specifications that can be understood and implemented by the technical team

+ Strong desire to keep current on new technologies that push the limits of what we can do creatively

+ Proactive- Must want to seek out information and solutions that are pertinent to their responsibilities and key to their delivery

+ Proactively collaborates with other team members across global time zones

+ Must be adaptable to a fast paced, dynamic work environment, strong ability to prioritize tasks appropriately

+ May travel occasionally ~ 10% (internal meetings, quarterly business reviews, sales kick offs)

Salary: USD 82500.00 – USD 123700.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
