Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing business analysis support to CAI customers on small to medium projects.

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to provide business analysis in an Agile environment. This position will be a full-time and remote contract opportunity. Due to our client, Candidates must be based in the US.

Due to our end client, candidates must be US Citizens and are required to take an online assessment.

What You’ll Do

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.

+ Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

+ Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear understanding across cross-functional teams.

+ Drive the refinement and prioritization of product backlogs, balancing business needs with technical feasibility.

+ Participate in the design and review of new systems, processes, and solutions, offering insights from a business perspective.

+ Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and work proactively to address challenges.

+ Validate that delivered solutions meet the agreed-upon requirements through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices.

+ Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.

+ Keep abreast of emerging data movement technologies and methodologies to continuously improve processes and deliverables.

What You’ll Need

Required:

+ 5+ years progressive experience in business analyst roles

+ Background in Agile background

+ Technical background required

+ Understanding of data movement technologies (API, batch, Mulesoft, Kafka, etc) understanding

+ Proficient in MS Office

+ Proficiency in documentation/notes gathering and retention

+ Demonstrated ability to problem solve/facilitate a discussion to discern requirements

+ Understanding of high level data analysis through SQL queries

+ Source to target mapping understanding

Preferred:

+ Health insurance background

+ Salesforce background preferred

+ GCP background preferred

+ Sales process background preferred

+ Visio a plus

+ B.A. not required but preferred

Physical Demands

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
