Associate, Enterprise Strategy

We are hiring an Associate to support and help build the Enterprise Product and Strategy function. Working closely with the Director of Enterprise Product and Strategy and other team members, the Associate will support a system and related processes that will enable HUB to further enhance its ability to develop and commercialize customer-focused solutions. In addition, this role will be responsible for supporting key aspects of HUB’s strategic priorities including framing and managing strategy initiatives, working cross-functionally to align goals and objectives and supporting strategy development.

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of strategy, planning processes and business models who is looking to join a fast-growing organization leveraging technology and digital capabilities to transform insurance and risk management solutions. The ideal individual will be a self-starter with a strong customer-focused mentality who seeks to understand stakeholder needs and work collaboratively across the enterprise to proactively meet those needs.

In This Role, You’ll Get To:

+ Drive forward the portfolio of enterprise strategy initiatives

+ Identify and address barriers to accelerating initiatives and opportunities to enhance execution effectiveness and efficiency

+ Engage in strategy development for key enterprise initiatives

+ Support and advance enterprise initiatives in support of our business partners

+ Ensure connectivity and effective communications among shared service and business partners

+ Identify opportunities to enhance customer offerings through best practices and external trends

We Are Looking for Someone with Following Competencies:

+ Intellectual curiosity and interest in better understanding a complex industry including the product and technology ecosystem

+ Experience effectively supporting multiple endeavors in a fast paced and agile work environment

+ Strong leadership qualities that drive outstanding results for our customers

+ Ability to effectively influence and build consensus across teams

+ Understanding of strategic planning and initiative management

+ Demonstrate a high level of core leadership competencies, including experience working with cross-functional teams with a resource mix of managers, employees, matrixed teams, virtual teams and third parties

Required Experience:

+ Must have 3-6 years of leadership experience, including management consulting, corporate planning, product strategy, strategic operations and/or corporate strategy experience

+ Experience working within the financial services or technology sector; insurance industry experience preferred

+ Bachelors degree required; MBA and/or graduate degree a plus

This position reports into Chicago and will be a hybrid-based working model.
