Job Description:

As Supply Chain Manager at Caterpillar, you will develop, implement and support processes and practices for ensuring a plan for every part and appropriate and timely stock levels of materials, components and equipment needed to manufacture and deliver products, supporting one or more large facilities.

What you will do:

+ Manage a team Product Change Control Releasers with 7 direct reports

+ Effectively manage Decatur MCS/MMO releasing for all Eng changes into production

+ Manage Product Change Control teams related to BOM effectivities and EC level material for all product groups.

+ Manage Decatur Change Escalation related to late engineering changes

+ Manage grief reports and metrics to ensure our high performing team

+ Establishing new processes, tools, and metrics to further the development and enhance the productivity of the collective team

+ Oversee the releasing and change management for all Decatur product groups with an average of 7,000 engineering changes annually.

Top Candidates Will Have:

+ Supply Chain experience

+ MAMM experience

+ Releasing experience

+ NPI experience

+ Previous supervisory experience

What Skills You Will Have:

Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

Level Extensive Experience:

- Develops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for own responsibilities.

- Provides the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development.

- Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.

- Ensures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.

- Plans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives.

- Ensures the planning proces
