Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Our Arens Control site in Arlington Heights, IL is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support their Power Electronics product line! As the Quality Engineer, you will own the full quality process from assisting with supplier selection, design and manufacturing, through to customer support. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of quality protocols and methods, managing compliance, analysis of reports and production data, and identifying trends and recommendations on quality standards and procedures when necessary.

Your Challenge:

+ Defines and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.

+ Reviews and evaluates complex in-process rejections and implements corrective action as needed.

+ Interfaces with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.

+ Participates in and may lead audits.

+ Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.

+ May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.

What You Bring:

+ Degree in Quality or Electrical Engineering preferred.

+ 4-6 years of applicable experience within Quality Engineering with exposure to electrical/electronic products.

+ Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) preferred.
