We’re here for it. We think you should be too! We’re looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as an Art Director, Email | SMS. The Art Director, Email | SMS will be responsible for developing design, presentation and photography concepts for the email channel. They will partner with internal teams to ensure email designs are customer-focused, intuitive and meet all brand standards. interactive, brand elevated user experiences that create engagement and conversion. This is a hybrid position that currently requires 2-3 days out of our Northbrook, IL corporate office. A day in the life as an Art Director, Email | SMS…+ Deepen customer engagement and conversion by driving the creation of innovative and engaging Email experiences across digital channels
+ Lead Email | SMS design projects from inception to launch
+ Mentor the design team by providing critical hindsight and feedback
+ Collaborate with internal and external project teams to support multi-channel initiatives
+ Create and maintain consistent, high level visual design patterns, standards and specifications
+ Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
+ Consistently approach visual design projects from a user-centered perspective
What you’ll bring to the table…+ Extensive knowledge of graphic design
+ Understanding of relevant software including Photoshop Illustrator
+ Experience with building animations/gifs
+ Previous experience in Email builder tools; HTML and CSS knowledge a plus
+ Maintain awareness of key performance metrics and incorporate them as part of the goals of the user experience
+ Ability to create engaging visual designs that enhance and elevate the brand
+ Possess the ability to run effective critique of visual design work
+ Ability to successfully guide and move forward multiple projects at one time
