Position Summary

 

The Senior Business Analyst is a senior level business analysis position and serves as a key subject matter expert for organizing and coordinating strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business team operates. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities and business, functional and technical requirements needed to address business challenges. Business Analysts work closely with Business resources and stakeholders, internal Technology teams, and various vendors and third-party consultants and implementers.

 

The Senior Business Analyst must also have the ability to think analytically, solve problems for complex business processes, and document results. The ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across functional and technical departments is a necessary skill and will be used daily. The flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment along with sound judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, and strong follow-through are all necessary qualities for this position.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Distill and analyze complex, enterprise level business challenges and to transform those challenges into succinct, written business, functional, non-functional, and transitional requirements
