JOB DESCRIPTION

Combined Insurance, a Chubb Company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A to join our fast-paced, high energy, growing company. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A will play a key role in providing financial insights and support to drive informed decision-making across the organization. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis using various methodologies, financial statements, key financial ratios, and performance indicators.
  • Provide insightful analysis on financial trends, risks, and opportunities to assist in strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the FP&A Manager or Senior Leadership.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance financial planning and forecasting processes.
  • Support the development and enhancement of budget and forecasting templates, tools, and models.

Financial Systems and Tools:

  • Familiarity with financial software and tools, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, business intelligence software, and advanced Excel skills; TM1 and Peoplesoft experience preferred.
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting TM1 system issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within TM1.
  • Serve as a backup administrator for the TM1 system, ensuring its optimal functionality and performance.
  • Identify and recommend system enhancements and optimization opportunities within TM1 to improve performance and usability.

Attention to Detail and Accuracy:

  • Strong attention to detail in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, statements, and reports.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and performing financial reconciliations.

Time Management and Adaptability:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing business environments and priorities.
  • Flexibility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Experience in a corporate FP&A environment
