What You Will Do
In this role, you will:
Provide internal and external client support for the Integrate product suite. At times, this will require troubleshooting issues arising in client's models.
Create and present content for client training on features within the Integrate product suite.
Support actuarial content development with testing and review of actuarial models and tools.
Assist with client projects to develop actuarial models.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Develop and maintain system documentation.
Travel is required occasionally.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g.,FSA, ASA, CFA) are a plus.
7+ years of experience in the life insurance industry preferably in a modeling role.
Experience in financial modeling using Actuarial modeling software. ( e.g. Integrate, MG-ALFA, Excel)
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g.,C/C++, R, Python) and modeling software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB).
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills to convey complex ideas to clients and team members.
Desire to continuously learn and develop new skill and knowledge.
Highly detail oriented with emphasis on problem solving.
This position is based out of Chicago, IL. The candidate hired into this role must be willing to work in person in the Milliman office on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements are considered.
Compensation: The salary range is $101,000 to 159,000, depending on a combination of factors, included but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
