Job Description

General support functions for International Moving Services Operations. Responsible for shipment tracing, customer service, documentation handling (preparing, collecting, distributing and saving to SISTRS), and downstream cost containment for household goods international shipments. Will have contact with customers, agents, vendors and port brokers.
This position is open to being filled as a hybrid schedule in our Oakbrook, Terrace, IL office.

Shipment Tracing: Though shipment prompts, confirming events occurred and then updating ProMove and the IRC accordingly.

Documentation Handling: Responsible for arranging all shipping documents and processing with customers, agents, vendors and port brokers and uploading to SISTRS database.

Keep customers, agents, vendors and port brokers informed of status changes in a timely manner

Other duties as assigned, including communications desk coverage, FedEx handling and registering files as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
* Well organized
* Detail Oriented
* Goal Oriented
* Excellent Communication skills both oral and written
* Ability to work successfully in a team environment where work direction will be provided by multiple people (Matrix Environment)
* 1-2 Years of customer service or transportation experience preferred

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* High school diploma required
* Undergraduate degree preferred
