Job Description

Edelman DXI is seeking an Associate, Product Development to support the end to end development lifecycle for web applications, mainly predictive analytics dashboards. This role will work with the predictive analytics business to build applications that use a range of data science techniques to identify insights for our clients and inform decision-making.

Responsibilities:

    • Working autonomously through the full product development lifecycle with little managerial oversight
    • Programming skills across Angular, React, NodeJS, and/or Python to develop internal and external web applications
    • Consolidate, clean, and re-structure data from multiple disparate sources to prepare them for analytics
    • Assist with crafting stories from analytical insights and preparing client-facing materials
    • Manage assigned tasks to the project schedule and coordinate with supervisor regarding prioritization
    • Collaborate with client and internal teams to learn about business needs and solution design



Qualifications:

    • BS or MS degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
    • 1-3 years of Product Development or Programming experience; preferably in smaller teams or agency environments
    • Programming skills across Angular, React, NodeJS, and/or Python
    • Working knowledge of regression analysis, tree-based models, NLP, and/or time-series modeling techniques
    • Working knowledge of a statistical programming language, such as R, SAS, or Python
    • Experience with SQL



$56,000 - $84,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
