Starkey is looking for a Senior Test Technician to join our growing team of engineers and technicians! We are seeking candidates to join our R&D Headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN!

JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
In this role, you will work hand in hand with a dynamic engineering and technician team. You will be providing critical support throughout all phases of product development projects. Working with the newest hearing aids, next-gen circuits, the latest acoustic transducer technologies, and high-precision test equipment, you will be making lasting improvements to millions around the world. Your attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and drive for excellence will be an integral part of achieving success for Starkey and your career. Duties include but not limited to:
Collaborate with engineers to execute work plans
Disassemble, modify, and/or build hearing aids and electronic devices
Perform circuit board rework on surface mount components
Execute laboratory and field test plans of products and/or components
Conduct test system verification and validation testing on new and existing stations
Assist in troubleshooting for issues that arise during testing
Support test equipment maintenance, calibration, repair, and improvement
Document and organize test results
Analyze data and provide insight on data trends/failures
Lead in troubleshooting during rework/building of electronic devices
Brainstorm and communicate findings with engineers
Perform laboratory test plans of products and/or components
Document and organize work processes
Lead other Technicians/Users as required for various ad hoc tasks

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent desired
HS Degree or GED diploma at minimum
Experience:
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work with very small (under microscope) components
Demonstrated hands-on reworking, debugging, and documentation skills required
Demonstrated success with data analysis, issue reporting, and resolution rollout
