Job Description:

The Gate Guard is responsible for maintaining positive control of a customs bonded warehouse facility at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
Daily record keeping of granted and denied entries
Reporting all suspicious items and activity to management to determine the best course of action
Maintain working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations.
Standing, walking and sitting for long periods at a time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years or older
Must have reliable means of transportation
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a 10 year background check
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
