As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide expert technical support for high-impact equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your role encompasses preventive and corrective maintenance, leading special projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Diagnose and Repair: Address and resolve reported functionality issues to maintain optimal working conditions.
- Customer Feedback: Communicate with supervisors about detected issues for prompt resolution.
- Problem-Solving: Implement solutions and improvements to reduce failure incidences.
- Specialized Maintenance: Execute specialized maintenance tasks as requested.
- Customer Interaction: Collaborate with requesters to gather information and ensure their needs are met.
- Inventory Management: Track materials and spare parts to ensure timely delivery.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct assigned preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Program Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to the preventive maintenance program.
- Project Leadership: Lead and facilitate special projects, including equipment installation, layout modifications, and refurbishing.
- Root Cause Analysis: Use the A3 tool for in-depth problem analysis and lead kaizen events to drive solutions.
- Team Support: Mentor and support Maintenance Tech 1 and 2 to enhance customer service.
- Required Degree: High school Diploma.
- Experience: 5+ years relevant experience.
- Strong customer-oriented approach
- Proficiency with electrical test instruments, hand and power tools
- Intermediate skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, and design software (drawings)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical information and project status
- Strong ability to analyze problems and find root cause solutions
- High level of precision in work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for up to 4 hours per day
- Experience using hand pallets, lift trucks, and book & scissor lifts
