Coding Auditor and Educator
Position Highlights:
Position: Coding Auditor and Educator
Location: Warrenville, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full-time
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

What you will do:
Conduct coding and billing training to physicians, non-physician practitioners, coders, and other interested personnel, including developing the curriculum and training materials, and assessing competency.
Perform audits with appropriate feedback
Monitor coding and billing regulations to assure compliance with governmental and payer regulations
Act as a resource to provider and staff regarding coding issues.

What you will need:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, verbal/written communication, organizational and team development skills are necessary.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
Ability to interact with all levels of health care team professionally.
Ability to write correspondence proficiently and to communicate in a professional manner and effectively handles difficult situations and/or individuals objectively.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of previous E/M audit experience
Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology
Current Procedural Terminology coding (CPT), ICD-10 coding and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS)
Certification:
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coded (CPC) certification
A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
