Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Senior Sales Representative to join our amazing culture. In this technical role, you will be supporting multiple large data center accounts domestically and will be primarily focused on developing and verifying scope of work, reviewing and validating design drawings, creating quotes and assembling costs, and supporting the sales team as needed through the pre-sales, sales and execution process. As a Sales Representative, you are a part of a dynamic sales team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

Work with the sales team to ensure in-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications, and team collaboration to determine and advise on overall project requirements.
Work with customers, partners, the sales team, and other Convergint teams (such as the Design Team, local offices/CTCs, etc.) to develop, verify and validate scope of work, system design/drawings, and BOMs to ensure the accuracy of all details.
Responsible for pricing estimates for each project utilizing estimation software tools. Represent the data center team as the subject matter experts with CTC's.
Understand requirements and articulate the basis of the pricing estimate with the CTC's.
Collect and compile vendor and manufacturer quotes to support the best value proposition of the pricing estimate.
Manage top tiers bidding management to meet the needs of the RFP response.
Manage top tiers sales margin growth target.
Oversee the production and representation of a sound pricing estimate to the data center and CTC teams.
Recommend competitive pricing strategies on large & complex deals aligned with profit objectives and competitive positioning. Allocate needed resources to pricing and deal pursuits.
Travel as required to support customer site visits, team collaboration events, CTC meetings, various job walks & site meetings.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You'll Need
Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to electronic security systems.
Exceptional job focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the team without being prompted.
Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision.
Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
High energy to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
Results-oriented and demonstrates a high level of ownership and accountability in delivering outcomes. Engages, develops, and manages team to deliver results.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
