Your role at Baxter
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Ethics and Compliance Professional to serve as the business partner for one of our Global Business Segments. In this role, you will provide proactive guidance and counseling to colleagues across the business segment to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Provide proactive guidance and counseling to colleagues across the business segment on ethics and compliance matters, including laws and regulations related to the healthcare industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.
Provide training and education to colleagues on ethics and compliance matters, including anti-corruption, data privacy, and industry codes of conduct.
Collaborate with Legal and other team members to ensure that the company's policies and procedures are current and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Serve as a SME for ethics and compliance matters, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams as needed.
Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations related to the healthcare industry, and provide recommendations for how the company can remain compliant.
Conduct risk assessments and due diligence to identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Monitor and report on compliance issues and trends and provide recommendations for improvement.What you'll bring
Law Degree from a recognized institution
Proven experience in ethics and compliance, with a focus on the healthcare industry.
Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare company.
In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to the healthcare industry, including U.S. Fraud and Abuse laws, such as the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive compliance initiatives and promote a culture of ethics and compliance.
Experience with compliance risk assessment and management.
Knowledge of international compliance regulations and standards.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary rangeof$224,000to$280,000andalso includes an annual incentive bonus and equity target The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/office location.
