Job Description

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry, located in Franklin Park, Illinois. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with developing financial strategies, preparing financial forecasts and budgets, conducting detailed financial analysis, and preparing presentation materials for senior management.

Responsibilities: – Develop financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives. – Prepare and implement financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring they align with the company’s goals. – Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability, cost analysis, and scenario planning. – Utilize Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting. – Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. – Monitor variances between actuals and forecasts, and report on these variances. – Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure their accuracy. – Utilize ad hoc financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the business. – Prepare clear and compelling presentation materials to communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders. – Develop KPI reporting and management presentations to aid in strategic decision-making. Requirements – Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential – Proficient in budget processes and budgeting – forecasting – Familiarity with Sage 50 software – Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel – Experience in ad hoc financial analysis – Ability to develop financial models – Strong background in financial analysis – Knowledge in financial modeling – Experience in financial reporting – Proficiency in financial statement preparation – Experience in monthly financial reporting – Ability to prepare financial reports – Skills in creating financial presentations – Experience in creating management presentations – Proficiency in KPI reporting – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Excellent communication and presentation skills – Ability to work independently and as part of a team – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
