Job Description
Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in HAMPSHIRE, Illinois. You’ll be involved in the management of customer accounts, invoice generation, payment processing, and account reconciliation. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, providing a dynamic work environment within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the process of posting receipts, closely monitoring cash activity.
- Generate invoices in a timely manner, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Handle payment processing tasks, including check processing and recording transactions in accounting software systems.
- Perform account reconciliation tasks, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP – Financial Services, CRM, Epic Software, and ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions.
- Implement and maintain billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Use Accounts Receivable (AR) tools to manage and track customer payments and account balances.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge in Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Cash Activity, and Check Processing to improve efficiency and productivity. Requirements – Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems – Experience with ADP – Financial Services – Familiarity with CRM platforms – Proficient in using Epic Software – Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning – Ability to handle Accounting Functions – Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) – Knowledge of Billing Functions – Ability to manage Cash Activity – Experience in Check Processing
