Job Description
+ Performing wet chemistry lab analysis on raw materials, in process, and finished products including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, physical properties (color, odor, appearance), as well as performing IR Spectroscopy and FTIR.
+ Performing micro testing/swabbing.
+ Checking all incoming raw materials including chemicals, bottles, and labels.
+ Performing line audits to ensure that filling and compounding operations meet customer requirements.
+ Writing logs and reports of all findings in Microsoft Excel and other data management systems.
+ Sending daily emails to Lab Manager and Quality Director to update on findings from the shift.
+ Interacting with the corporate team in San Francisco to discuss any issues that may arise.
+ Documenting department results and KPIs during the shift as needed
+ Working in Excel and SAP to document quality results
Qualifications
+ Bachelors of science degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field.
+ Wet chemistry experience from industry or from academia.
+ Experience working with Microsoft Office
+ Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
