Job Description

The Sales Support Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to formulate and implement strategic plans in support of aligned sales team. The Sales Support Manager provides guidance to assist the team in identifying client needs, closing mortgages, understanding of underwriting/credit practices, and overall leadership of sound lending activities to facilitate positive customer outcomes. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and external customers.

Responsibilities :

+ Provide framework for team to consistently deliver quality loan submissions, consistent communication between all related parties to ensure expectations are met and customer satisfaction delivered.

+ Support target setting, performance plans, and coaching plans in alignment with sales team as well as meet with operations managers to review performance, progress, and targets.

+ Places focus on the consistent deployment of all management routines that drive performance by conducting performance evaluations, development conversations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination when required.

+ Conducts regular meetings for team as well as individual coaching of team members.

+ Establishes and maintains key relationships and business contacts within Citi including but not limited to DLE, ALM, Fulfillment leadership, sales support, marketing, and technology.

+ Prioritizes, communicates, promotes promotional campaigns and product initiatives and change management/process change.

+ Direct customer engagement not limited to but including serving as a liaison between customer and Citi in escalated customer matters. Be able to provide clarity on end-to-end process including timelines, necessary documentation and when necessary, the capturing of complaints, resetting of expectations and service recovery.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications :

+ 5-8 years of relevant experience

+ Previous management experience preferred.

+ Ability to lead and manage a diverse team

+ Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

+ NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant

Education :

+ Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (“Registry”) and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities. As part of this registration process, you must be fingerprinted unless you have fingerprints are on file with NMLS Registry that are less than 3 years old. This position further requires that you maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and provide your unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$78,080.00 – $117,120.00
