Our client within the biotech/pharma industry is seeking a Sample Coordinator to assist with logging samples and chemicals, data entry and other similar tasks!
+ 1st shift 8a-5p Monday – Friday
+ $19.00/hr
The Sample Coordinator is responsible for maintaining chain of submitted samples.
What You’ll Do
+ Receive and log samples into the LIMS
+ Receive and log chemicals and standards into the LIMS
+ Distribute samples to chemists maintaining chain of custody
+ Dispose of sample after 2-month retain
+ Contact clients regarding sample discrepancies, requested rush delivery, and damaged or missing samples
Requirements
+ HS degree AS/BA/BS Business or related degree preferred
+ 1-4 years of related sample handling experience
+ Knowledge of laboratory safety precautions and protocols
+ Ability to work varied and extended hours/days, as business dictates
