We are currently hiring for:
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanical System (MMS) Supervisor
Job Summary: The MMS Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager and will lead the maintenance inventory process for the facility. The MMS Supervisor responsibility will include but not limited to leading a team of Inventory Control Clerks, the parts crib including the ordering and distribution of all parts, all maintenance systems, inventory items, inventory records, equipment records, mechanic information, work order information, area procedures, department team member activities, etc. Directly assist the Maintenance Manager with department cost analysis reports/processes. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement of the maintenance department and its' systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Control and monitor maintenance parts inventory levels/changes ensuring proper maintenance levels of all needed parts inventory.
Address and correct any parts overstock issues.
Work to reduce the cost of inventory through outsourcing.
Work with vendors to develop a partnership role in part acquisition and inventory control.
Ensure that all systems are being utilized properly and that maintenance department policies and procedures are being followed.
Develop reporting formats to help the Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Manager make effective management decisions for the department.
Oversee proper administration and integrity of CMMS system.
Oversee administration and integrity of all maintenance department equipment, parts and tools storage and distribution policies and procedures.
Timely ordering of all maintenance department parts and supplies, including proper accuracy and follow-up with order changes and discrepancies.
Source vendors for repair opportunities on items used in the facility.
Monitor and track all repairs through the work order system in CMMS.
Participate in the selection of new suppliers.
Provide effective leadership, communication, and feedback to direct reports.
Ensure security of company assets in parts and control usage of the parts.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience is preferred in inventory management and supervision of others.
Bachelor's Degree is a related field or equivalent is preferred.
Computer experience with Google Suite.
Knowledge of CMMS or other maintenance planning platforms.
Knowledge of timekeeping systems is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs as needed.
Ability to perform basic math.
Must have a great attention to detail.
Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
Coaching and performance management experience is a plus.
Must be able to solve problems.
Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
