Job Description
POSITION PROFILE: The Apprenticeship Specialist will work directly with community business members and the One Stop Business Services Team, serving as the link between employers' needs and the services available through the One Stop System. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing apprenticeship programs that align with industry standards and meet the specific needs of businesses and organizations. This involves identifying potential partners, building and maintaining relationships, and promoting the benefits of apprenticeship programs to stakeholders. The Apprenticeship Specialist will also support program development, administration, coordination, and reporting. Additionally, this position involves developing and maintaining information regarding business and industry trends, including employment opportunities and workforce training needs in Boone, Stephenson, and Winnebago counties, by working with educational entities to address shortages in critical skill areas in our region.
