Job Description
- High school diploma/G.E.D. with at least 3 years’ applicable experience in office management, formal education and/or certifications preferred
- Strong background in customer services and human services
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout East Central Illinois as necessary
- Ability to utilize organizational skills to manage all aspects of program documentation, including tracking activities, updating records and monitoring outcomes. Must manage files and documents and follow recordkeeping requirements
- Knowledge and respect for diverse cultures/lifestyles and problems of poverty in the community
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Knowledge of public assistance programs, including eligibility and application process
- Ability to set work priorities and organize effectively to meet deadlines
- Proficient in English (spelling, punctuation, grammar)
- Ability to attend worksite regularly to perform job duties and responsibilities
- Highly proficient data entry and computer skills and the ability to use and manage computer files, use databases, create spreadsheets, and prepare presentations
- Ability to learn the use of web-based systems
- Ability to attend program meetings and/or training as required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate client scheduling needs including periodic early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Summary
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/37.5 hours per week
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., M-F
Starting Hourly Wage: $21.48 - $23.00
