Job Description
Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Blending Technician, using the proper instruction and ingredients, prepares syrup for the production lines.
JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Follow proper instructions set by the parent companies, batch syrup so that it meets quality standards.
Perform daily raw material usage inventory.
Maintain records and files of batch codes and ingredients.
Assist with microbiological samples and tests.
Assist with lab duties, when available.
Comply with all quality, plant and food safety, HACCP, GMP and sanitation regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires education generally equivalent to four years of high school.
Requires good communication skills.
Requires close attention to detail.
Requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Must have the ability to problem solve.
Computer skills helpful.
Able to read, write and follow directions.
Able to work unsupervised.
Must be able to stand and walk 8-12 hours.
Must be able to read and write English, as well as be able to understand spoken English.
